Development of an AMR with Globoid Worm Gear Application

✔️AMR Development Case PALO ROBOTICS - AMR 200

EasternGear has successfully developed and produced a prototype of the PALO AMR 200, an Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) utilizing its proprietary Globoid Worm Gear Reducer technology.

PALO is a newly introduced robotics brand by EasternGear specializing in robot development. The PALO AMR 200 is expected to serve as an optimal logistics robot solution with stable, precise movements suitable for high-performance industrial environments.

 

Currently, EasternGear is focusing on enhancing the specifications, functionality, and user convenience of the prototype, while preparing for lineup expansion and mass production.


 



 

✔️SPEC 

PALO AMR was first unveiled at ROBOTWORLD 2024, featuring a maximum payload capacity of 200 kg, a top speed of 1.2 m/s, and a maximum operating time of approximately 10 hours.

✔️Application Areas

In particular, the Globoid Worm Reducer mounted on the PALO features a self-locking mechanism, enabling secure position holding even when power is turned off. This makes it particularly well-suited for industries demanding heavy-load handling capabilities and high safety standards.

 

Moreover, by integrating clutch-type actuator technology, which allows for controlled disengagement of the self-locking feature when necessary, the system will be applied across various fields including construction, machinery, and heavy equipment industries, where high power and operational stability are essential.
